"In C" is still in progress, John Roulat has now done his drumpart and I'm really amazed what he's done!
I've been listening alot to Von Zamla the last few months while driving to work,
leading me to think I should do some covers of Lars Hollmer's work as a tribute to his memory.
...at least try to - this is difficult music!
Bought 2 softsynths - The Dark Side and Alien Skies
Think I'm aiming towards making heavy and scary music.
"In C" is in progress. Had lots of fun programming drums, playing guitar, bass, and mandolin.
Nick Didkovsky has already sent me his guitarpart, and I got several synth versions by David Bagsby.
I'm awaiting a drummer's part within a few weeks.
Still hope to include more musicians, but the interest is quite cold at the moment.
Started a version of Steve Reich's "Electric Counterpoint".
It will probably be a long-term project.
Did several versions of Elliott Sharps's "Bubblewrap".
The score is open for many interpretations (as Elliott's scores often are) and I've sent him mp3's during my attempts.
He responded kindly with some hints.
I've always been inspired by Scott Johnson; making music to spoken words.
I fall back to this from time to time, and this time it was a recording from a game we play in the family almost every weekend; "Mexican Train".
While working and analyzing recordings of human speach, I'm amazed how musical it is. GuMiLeSt_v4.mp3

Normalizer 2 (working title Lillhagen) is paused, met some big difficulties exporting the individual tracks to wav format,
so I lost pace a bit. Hope to continue soon again.
The Repple:2008 album has been downloaded 3 times. I doubt it's going to be a big seller.

October 2010

I've joined CDBaby. The Repple:2008 album is no longer free, but I've set a low pricetag on it. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/repple2

June-September 2010
Nothing became of "In The Dead Of Night" or "Som sommaren".
Normalizer 2 is still in the works, basic stuff for 28 minutes (divided into13 tracks) are done.
a teaser is here

April-May 2010
"In The Dead Of Night" is delayed, and so is "Som sommaren".
Both are still in the works, and I hope to have them finished soon.
I've started (again) to put music to Marco Minnemann's Normalizer 2 - a 51 minutes drum solo.
I'm 5 minutes into this cave of strangeness in musical beats and rhythms.
Think this will take some time to finish, but
it's challenging and so much FUN!

January-March 2010
Just for fun, working on 2 covers.
Danielsson&Pekkanini: "Som sommaren"
UK: "In The Dead Of Night"
Hopefully they'll both be finished in April.
Been to Japan for the UKZ tour. VERY inspirational.
Been to Germany as well, bought a miniature version of my Brian May Signature guitar.
Talks about gathering "Studz", a pop-group I was a member of in the 80's, for a gig.

The work on a new version of the Square Dance song has been down for a few weeks,
but several people on the EJ forum has been supportive so I find it worthwhile to work more on it.
Hopefully it'll be a joint TOA effort, and the result will be downloadable for free.

This version of putting music to a square-dance rhyme from Dusty on the Eddie Jobson forum, is a work in progress.
I've cried for help, and hopefully it'll turn out to be a song with input from fellow EJ fans.

Jag kommer nu att byta språk på denna hemsidan, eftersom flertalet av mina goa fans inte kan svenska!
I've now gathered the Repple tracks from last year, and made a CDR.
For now it only exists a special "USA limited edition" of 10 copies that I'll hand out for free to friends in New York during my visit there for the UKZ premiere.
There will be a slightly different version of the CD available for download here shortly.
